Julia Flasphaler is a second-generation mixed Korean American writer based in Southern California. She was born at Yongsan Garrison in Seoul to an American military father and a Korean mother. Her family moved to the US when she was two, and she's since lived in Washington, California, New Hampshire, Connecticut, New York, Montreal, and France, and calls none, or maybe all, of them home.
